I'm a 36 year old single mother of two beautiful children, and was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. I have been taking pictures since I was 14 when I received my first camera as a birthday present from my parents, and from that day forward photography became a way for me to see things - and to share those things with other people! I’ve been a professional photographer for 15 years, but have reinvented myself and my studio to reflect what I believe is my true purpose on this planet.

After going through a major life change in 2016 when I lost my life and business partner, I learned that life is precious. It took time, healing, and traveling the world for a year with my camera, shooting for myself and not for others. My craft helped pull me out of the darkness.
