I'm a 36 year old single mother of two beautiful children, and was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. I have been taking pictures since I was 14 when I received my first camera as a birthday present from my parents, and from that day forward photography became a way for me to see things - and to share those things with other people! I tend to see things differently from other people, and think that benefits me - not only in life, but when I take pictures.
I always aim to take the type of photos that draw you in and tell a story at a glance - I think those are the types of photos that you'll treasure for years to come. I like to take a more casual approach to shooting, and am always relaxed and easy-going when I'm working. I think that helps relax the people I am working with. Relaxed subjects are always great, and it enables me to take the kinds of pictures you'll love! It isn't just capturing an image to me; it's capturing who you are.
