Hi there! I’m Chastidyi.

I’m a new kind of photographer… one who wants capture the mood of a moment while making you look as great as possible. You might be wondering what that means for you....

To start with, it means setting up the moment. I love capturing moments. That’’s why I got into photography. It’s amazing that a tender touch or a laugh can be around years later to bring back the memory of the moment. Through different types of sessions–bridal, boudoir, portrait, etc.–I will work with you to make you feel relaxed and comfortable so that you can get a natural, beautiful image. My photography style is a mixture of candid/journalistic and semi-posed photography because it allows me to help reveal a more realistic picture of the person I am photographing. Because I prefer to try to take a more individualized photo, I do not work out of a studio. I will help you choose a place that is reflective of your personal taste so that everything about your shoot shows your personality.

Once I have the basic image, I import it into photoshop for retouching to get rid of any flaws–real or imagined. This means smoothing out your skin tone, boosting the color, minimizing wrinkles, tweaking the contrast, etc. Basically, it’s a bunch of stuff that you don’t need to worry about except to know that you will be getting the movie star treatment on your images.
