Ron Simons, owner of Simons' Photographic in Readfield, is a nationally recognized, PPA Certified Master Photographic Craftsman. Ron has provided his clients with exceptional, award winning, portraiture for thirty years. He is also an accomplished commercial photographer having been a principal catalog photographer for such clients as L.L. Bean (24 years), Swix Sports, Saab Scandia, International Paper, Boise Cascade, Sears, Aramark/Wearguard, and many other local and national firms.

With the advancement of digital technology it's now possible for anyone to buy a nice, fully automatic digital camera that will deliver, in most cases, a correctly exposed file to print from without having to take a loan out at the bank. Owning a nice camera just makes them a camera owner, not a profession photographer. It's great that they enjoy photography, but hey, I own a guitar, but that doesn't make me Eric Clapton! There's a saying that I believe says it all ...
