Michael Scott has won more National awards for his Senior Photography than all the photographers in a 50 mile radius combined! Though other photographers boast about awards, they fail to tell you what those awards were for. Michael is one of only six photographers in the country to have earned the Senior Photographers Internationals Highest achievement award for print merits and professional contributions, and won the Best Senior Portrait Session in the Country the last year he competed in 2008. Atlantis is a fully complete portrait studio, and though we do go on location for some sessions, we know that if all you have are outdoor portraits, you only got half a session. Michael Scott is one of the few photographers in the area that knows how to pose and light people to make them look incredible. His style is unmatched, though often copied, and in no way can be challenged by the point and shoot photography that's commonly reffred to as Photo-journalistic or Life Style pictures. When Michael takes a picture, it is intentional, and not luck that they all turn out great. Michael is also an incredible Family photographer, and when you look at an Atlantis Family Portrait, it is like looking through a window in time, as the portraits are so filled with life that you would think you were standing there as the portrait was being taken.
