Vibrant Memories Photography is a boutique photography business. The owner, Dilip Barman, is an award-winning photographer who has had his images published in several magazines and books and displayed in several museums and an arboretum. He has been involved with photography for most of his life and teaches photography for many area arts centers and Duke University.
We offer professional print services and host your pictures online for you and your friends and family to browse and directly print from. We can make your images available fully publicly or with various levels of password protection.
We offer a variety of packages to suit you, our client, at competitive prices. We know that there are many photographers to choose from and are happy to refer you to others if we can't schedule you.
Our contracts are written in clear language and are meant to ensure that we all know what to expect.
We shoot on current professional Canon digital cameras with Canon lenses. If you are interested, we are happy to talk with you about shooting with Canon film cameras.
Dilip offers courses for serious amateurs and professionals. Seminars can be a few hours long and cover a buying guide to cameras, last six or more weeks and cover aesthetics and technique, or detail concepts in depth like digital photography workflow. Dilip teaches through a variety of institutions courses specically meant for retirees as well as ones just for young children, pre-teens, and teenagers. Private tutoring for individuals and custom seminars for organizations are available.
